The second global metal apocalypse 'global music' compilation has arrived.
Split uniquely into segments (labelled by letter(s)) with a wide variety of metal AND non-metal music.
The idea is to pollinate metal further afield whilst exposing some of the world's non-metal scenes, thus helping expose a wide variety of bands and artists.
Once again we are supporting a charity, this time round it is the charity Little People UK, which supports and raises awareness of dwarfism and associated genetic disorders. It was set up by actor and celebrity Warwick Davis (most would know Warwick from Harry Potter (Philosophers Stone) or Star Wars (Ewok, and in the recent film 'The Force Awakens').
There are far too many thanks I want to send out, so to keep them as a collective I wish to thank the following: our fans who support what we do and what we stand for, the bands / artists participating (who made this possible), the record labels and managements involved, the non-metal community who liked the idea of a global compilation, my HMV colleagues, but more importantly my family for supporting my passion for music journalism over the last 7 years.
Honorable mentions (these go out to those who tried looking for bands/artists in their nation/on their island and or are artists/bands themselves but could not be included through various reasons):-
