n 2013 Otto formed black metal band called Millenium Inferni, which soon broke up due to creative differences between its members. The group resumed its activities in 2013 and was called Arbor Mortis, when Otto (vocals) and Sona (keyboards) began recording their first album.

Theme of band draws on mythological and religious characters. There is also songs about hopelessness, depression, aggression and other negative feelings, which, according to members of the Band are the predominant part of human nature, and could be considered as a separate, specific beauty.

Initially, the band was a studio-project and no live performances were not planned. But in 2014 Arthur (drums) and Avo (guitar) offered to play a concert and eventually become full-fledged members of the team, thus completing the formation of Arbor Mortis. The Band also included Artak Karapetyan and Aram Grigorian. In 2014, the band played their first gig at a club Headbanger in Yerevan, after which the guys were in the club Uptown.

In April 2014 by the Exalted Woe Records label published the first full-length album of 100 copies , entitled "Embla". The second full-length album, "Prophet", was released in January 2015. If the first album was released on CD, the second one was originally released only in digital format. After the second full-length album musicians started writing the third one which will be available in 2016.
