The man called Sosthenes Yaméogo he is originally from Burkina Faso and is one of the distinguished composers and guitarists of the country. In 1978, his mother returned to France, offered him as a gift a classical guitar, but it was in March 2013 that he released his first album; with his fingers crossed over only a day away from the strings of his guitar since that day in '78.

Thirty years have therefore elapsed between these two important dates. One wonders why wait so long? But we know, listening man, that it is thirty years of research, meetings, discovery, sharing ... years of music studies at the Conservatoire Dakar, Wineba (Accra), to INA Mali, etc ... He has many musical events throughout Africa and Europe.

He teaches music since 1994 in large schools and colleges (of Nations School, High School Youth, etc.), the National Institute of Education and Cultural Action (INAFAC), professionals particulars- etc. . Songwriter-performer, film music director, artistic director of musical creations, Sosthenes over the years has managed to create and test his musical style that has consolidated and enhanced with all the experience gained, which is born a kind of music: the WIRSUK.
