Born in Bangui, Central African Republic, Mamba Lydia inherits the name that in his patois means smile. At 14 she joined FOCUS MASSEKA, 100% female training experimental music, rhythmic cooking traditional tools sounds. She makes her first scenes internationals.

At the French Alliance of Bangui, she won in 2004 the price of Song Francophone and, in the process, she made the first parts of Lokua Kanza and Tiken Jah Fakoly. It has subsequently a scholarship from the French Cooperation to study and train with live music and jazz to Music'Hall in Toulouse for two years. She will give her first solo concerts.

Back in Central Africa, after a series of benefits, then it comes out in 2009, his first maxi single and video clip: SANGO & YOU, a hymn to his native tongue which will be widely disseminated in the media. Idyll Mamba was born. It creates a framework for collaboration and self-production through Duke Ziki association, a recording studio and surrounded himself with a team of creative young, motivated and dynamic.

In 2012, with France Culture, it gets a "visa for creation." She moved to the Paris Cité Internationale des Arts for a 3 months residence which will be punctuated many scenic collaborations and performances with international artists. Idyll Mamba is a total and true artist who expresses his creativity in continuous, from a young age.
