Mindpatrol is a Luxembourgish Progressive Metal band, founded in summer 2012 by Luc François and Xavier Hofmann as a studio project. Shortly before the digital release of their first album Downfall Theatre in late 2013, the studio project became a real band. Vocalist Luc François also wrote a German tie-in book to the album Downfall Theatre. After some changes in their line-up, Mindpatrol are now six young musicians in their early twenties.

Their second album The Marble Fall narrates an alternative version of the biblical Fall of Man. It was recorded and mixed by the band's own guitarist from Muschel Productions and mastered by Sebastian
Levermann from the Greenman Studios. The Marble Fall was released digitally on October 16th via M&O Music and physically on October 30th as a self-published digipack.

The members of Mindpatrol are actively contributing to the metal community beside the band: Vocalist Luc François writes for the German Legacy magazine, drummer Scott Kutting writes for the page Powermetal.de and guitarist Xavier Hofmann records and produces local bands in his own Muschel Productions studios. Moreover, Luc François writes German books which often have a relation to metal music.
