Saħħar, or SaĦĦaR as usually written, started around 2006 by Marton Saliba as a Black Metal project it didn’t take along before it became something more wholesome and Marton dedicated himself exclusively to Saħħar becoming a one-man band which has been active for almost a decade. There were times where musical approaches differed, but for the most part, Saħħar remained Black Metal with some other element thrown in for good measure. IN reality Black Metal is what Marton is most comfortable with to play for Saħħar. As from last year (2014) Marton teamed up with some other musicians and commenced performing live which changed the paradigm completely for Saħħar.

Overall, between EPs, full-lengths, bootlegs and all, Saħħar published nine releases and currently working on a Tenth one, along with a string of live performances in the pipeline.
