Beer & Steel was started in 2011 by singer / guitarist / songwriter Vuk Kankaras and his multi-instrumentalist brother Aleksandar Kankaras in Niksic, Montenegro (Beer and Steel City) regional industrial centre.

The Band Members:-

Vuk Kankaras (guitarist, singer, songwriter)
Aleksandar Kankaras (drummer, keyboardist)
Nemanja Cvijovic (bass-guitarist)

After the first step of songwriting process, band presented their songs on tour named ’Rock Night’ in Montenegro and many festivals in their home country and region. The Band got many fans playing 3-4 hours long concerts presenting their own songs and playing tribute blocks to Led Zeppelin, AC/DC. Metallica, Motorhead, Guns ’N’ Roses and many other artists.

The band draws inspiration from '70s, '80s and '90s hard rock and heavy metal artists like Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Motorhead, Metallica, Iron Maiden and many other artists. Running through few genres of rock music (classic rock, blues, hard rock, heavy metal, punk ...), the band decided to put all genres together in ’new old-school rock’. Heavy guitar riffs, powerful, loud rhythm section and falsetto scream never leave anyone cold.

The Beer & Steel band’s first album name ’One Way’ will be released soon.
