about

Spiral Skies is a brand new band with members based in Stockholm and Hamburg. The music has it's foundation in the 70's rock music style and from there the band has developed a genre that can be most easily described as “On-Other-Planets kinda Rock”. Spiral Skies was formed summer 2014 when Frida joined the quartet.

Spiral Skies are playing live shows frequently in Sweden, capturing the audience at one. Mystery and intensity characterizes the quintet and the charismatic female vocalist Frida spreads along with the skillful, masked orchestra a unique sound. A sound that both deliver
straight forward rock 'n' roll as well as dark, melancholic tones.

Spiral Skies has been compared to acts such as Blood Ceremony, Curved Air, The Devil’s Blood, Jeffersson Airplane amongst a few.

Spiral Skies released the single "Wizard´s Ball" in October 2014 and shortly after that, the EP "A Queendom To Come" was released (late February, available on CD, Cassette and digital distribution. The band are currently preparing for a single release fall 2015.

The whole EP was recorded live in the rehearsal room of Spiral Skies, except for the vocal parts.
