A.M. is a band created by José Ernesto Espinosa (Cuba) and Edu Alvizua (Venezuela), which sharing musical tastes of styles such as blues, rock, jazz, among others, began this project. 2010 was the year in which it was created, focusing primarily on playing covers of internationally known bands such as Pink Floyd, Muse, Jimi Hendrix, Maná, Soda Stereo, among others. They started to perform at different stages of the Caribbean, making themselves known by their characteristic touch added to their shows. Although in this region, the rock is not a very relevant style, they began to gain acceptance from the public, highlighting their way of making music.

Towards the second half of 2012, and after appearing as special guests at the Plaza Brion Plein, in the closing week of Venezuela in Curacao, they went to Punto Fijo, Venezuela, with the collaboration of Daniel Urbina as a music producer of UniRecord Studios. By the end of this year (2012), 11 tracks were recorded, marking the beginning of Initium, their first musical album. On the recording they were focused on using vintage guitar sounds and melodies, without leaving aside the influence of the modern, but using tools that would reflect the sound of the Old School Rock.

Finalizing this process, Johnny Serra from BackStage Studies, Caracas, Venezuela joins to the team as mixing engineer. In this new process, they had the collaboration of Alejandro Salas, prominent Venezuelan composer and producer, as music arranger of strings work on 2 of the songs on the album (Desafinado and A Otro Ser). The process of Mastering was led by the hand of the 7 time Grammy nominee, Brian ''BigBass´´ Gardner, from Los Angeles, USA, which has worked with internationally renowned artists such as Eric Clapton, Frank Sinatra, Barry White, among others.

Final touches were given to the album, being ready by the end of 2013. Initium, meaning Start in Latin, consists of 11 tracks, and passes from the nuances of Grunge (Por Tu Piel), touching the symphonic metal (A Otro Ser), pop ballad (Como un Eco) and acoustic work (Desafinado), just to mention a few. The album is an independent production and was released digitally on iTunes and Amazon on January 11, 2014.

The current configuration of AM consists of 4 members. Jose E. Espinosa (singer), Eduardo Alvizua (lead guitar) , Nicolas Vasquez (Chile, bass) and Anton Cornelisse (Curaçao, drums)
