Hailing from the land of fire and ice, Narthraal is an old school Death Metal band that has set out to spread a simple message throughout the world of pure darkness and hate.

Formed in 2012 by vocalist Viktor 'Deviaarth' Penalver, guitarists Antonio Aguilar, Kári Alexander Jónsson and then joined by drummer Jónas Hauksson they decided upon creating a world loosely based on biblical hell that they would later name Narthraal.

Devoting all spare time into writing music and lyrics best describing this cavernous expanse of sand and blood, they started to develop the sound which they are today known for.

Their lyrics revolve mostly around the ruling figure of Narthraal known only as 'The Fallen' who seeks to break out of his bonds and sear the heavens with his unrestrained fury. Their songs contain angry guitar riffs, punching bass, groovy yet heavy drums and brutal growls to best deliver the angry message they stand for.

In January 2014 they released a 6 song EP called "Blood Citadel" (available via Facebook or narthraal@gmail.com).
